Role Summary

The Senior Manager, Market Access Operations will provide operational knowledge of, and project delivery support to, US Market Access initiatives. In this role, you will collaborate with leadership to design, optimize and monitor field inquiry programs and other operational processes to assess account dynamics and drive continuous effectiveness and growth. This position is remote-based anywhere in the U.S. (some restrictions may apply by legal entity) and does not include relocation. Working hours and travel expectations will be defined by the hiring manager.

Responsibilities

  • In collaboration with US Market Access Strategy and Market Access Operations Teams, develop operational excellence and align implement field inquiries best practices
  • Coordinate across cross-functional teams to ensure consistent resolution to field market access inquiries; monitor and report performance of key initiatives
  • Identify opportunities to innovate and optimize operational processes to field and resolve market access inquiries
  • Utilize vendor platforms and demonstrate understanding of functionality, limitations and accuracy of information available through key vendors (e.g., policy, formulary, and field reporting platforms)
  • Support development of field inquiry and resolution dashboards – including access details for existing and launch brands
  • Contribute towards the development of novel field inquiry and resolution processes, platforms, and KPIs that are aligned to and optimize Market Access execution efforts and integrated product strategy
  • Ability to learn NVS Material Approval Process, including FUSE platform, compliance with pharma/FDA marketing policies, and vendor payment systems
  • Help identify proactive solutions for key stakeholders in Market Access and help drive effectiveness of field inquiry and resolution processes
  • Work closely and engage with field operations teams – both inside and outside of Market Access - to ensure field inquiry and resolution activities are aligned and implemented in an expeditious manner
  • Contribute to the design and implementation of essential cross-functional field and functional team trainings on the inquiry system and ways of working
  • Demonstrate open and curious values and behaviors to explore innovative and/or emerging opportunities between Market Access and key US Commercial brands

Qualifications

  • Required: Minimum of 3 years of experience in Marketing/Sales, Market Access, Operations, Managed Care Finance, or related field
  • Preferred: Knowledge of pharmaceutical MLR processes and Veeva functionality
  • Required: Experience working with development teams and/or optimizing user experience (UX)
  • Preferred: Knowledge and experience of AI in Operations
  • Required: Track record of strong execution and results
  • Required: Ability to synthesize simplified, direct and effective communications
  • Required: Strong interpersonal, communication, influencing and analytical skills combined with a proven ability to successfully collaborate across a matrix organization
  • Required: Ability to drive multiple projects and consistently meet deadlines
