Senior Manager: Manufacturing – Material Handling

Role: Senior Manager of Manufacturing – Material Handling, overseeing 24/7 GMP material flow operations in Amgen's advanced biopharma manufacturing facility. Responsibilities: lead and develop teams managing receipt, storage, movement, and inventory control of materials; ensure operational readiness for startup and ongoing commercial production; optimize processes for material availability, inventory accuracy, and compliance; collaborate cross-functionally with Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, Engineering, and Automation; oversee equipment lifecycle and troubleshooting; drive continuous improvement, lean manufacturing, and inspection readiness; manage budgeting and resource allocation.
