Role Summary
This is a field-based leadership role in the Southeast region, overseeing a regional team of Immunology Account Executives. The role focuses on assessing regional business opportunities within the assigned geography and priority Immunology Accounts to deliver product performance goals. The position requires strong understanding of Immunology brand value propositions and effective execution through direct reports engaging key customers, while coordinating with multiple in-field teams and AbbVie support functions.
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement and execute skill development plans for direct reports; provide coaching during field-travel and key account planning discussions; evaluate performance against behavioral expectations.
- Lead KAM and internal partner communication to ensure coordinated execution of immunology priorities; monitor cross-organization clarity on roles and priorities.
- Develop and advance development planning with direct reports and partners to elevate inclusion and culture goals.
- Clarify and integrate marketing strategies into regional execution, including sales training needs, during in-field and regional meetings.
- Collaborate with Market Access and Trade to identify health system opportunities and conceptualize solutions within approved standards.
- Coach and enforce appropriate use of promotional materials with health economic messaging.
- Lead analysis and application of sales data with direct reports and partners to inform strategic planning and execution.
- Utilize analytic tools (e.g., CURO) to assess regional performance, communicate monthly results, and develop strategic selling initiatives.
- Develop and execute regional pull-through plans in support of core execution priorities; drive regional business planning and Key Account planning processes.
- Engage prioritized accounts to establish relationships with key customers to advance organizational objectives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Advanced analytical, coaching, direct people leadership, communication and presentation skills.
- Knowledge of applicable regulations and standards affecting business.
- Ability to examine complex business environment and develop/execute plans in response to market and account opportunities.
- In-depth experience working within large accounts and across KAM/Matrix teams strongly preferred but not required.
- Immunology sales/sales leadership preferred but not required.
- Driving a personal auto or company car or truck, or a powered piece of material handling equipment.
- Valid driver’s license; ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening test and meet safe driving requirements.

- Bachelor’s degree required.
