Senior Manager, HR Business Partner

Role Summary

Senior Manager, HR Business Partner (HRBP) to support Regeneron’s R&D. This role partners with HRBP leadership, COE functions, and business managers to provide counsel on organizational and people-related issues, including talent acquisition & planning, onboarding and development, employee engagement, culture, performance management, and change management to sustain Regeneron’s high-performance culture. Based at Regeneron’s Global HQ in Tarrytown, NY with a minimum of 4 days onsite required.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the HRBP Leadership to identify and plan key HR work for the business functions, across all client groups.
• Work with managers and employees to solve employee relations and people-related challenges, coordinating with internal HR specialists as needed.
• Handle conflicts, investigations, and employee grievances.
• Provide coaching to managers and employees on options and how to demonstrate the Regeneron Way.
• Participate in interviews for key positions and conduct candidate debriefs to drive hiring decisions in a rapidly expanding organization.
• Onboard new managers by partnering with hiring managers to facilitate a successful onboarding experience.
• Identify individual and team needs and partner with the OD Consulting team to craft solutions (e.g., team building).
• Partner with Total Rewards to define new roles, assess market value, and other reward/recognition programs.
• Support year-end performance calibrations and year-end compensation in Workday with managers.
• Provide ad hoc project support (e.g., career ladders, reorganization projects).

Qualifications

• Required: Bachelor’s degree in a scientific or HR-related discipline; minimum 10–12 years’ HR experience, preferably in pharma/biopharma/biotech or Manufacturing.
• Preferred: MBA or Master’s in OD/IO or Human Resources.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in a scientific or HR-related discipline required; advanced degrees (MBA or Master’s in OD/IO or Human Resources) preferred.
