Senior Manager, Hematology Area Business Specialist (ABS) Team (East Coast, field-based)
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a team of field-based Oncology Area Business Specialists; accountable for management, development, and training.
- Build and lead a high-performing, motivated, engaged team to deliver Oncology capability consistently across geographies.
- Strategically develop capabilities and training to improve site penetration and brand productivity across community accounts.
- Assess needs by geography and develop strategic plans and training to build ABS skills.
- Connect with key external customers to gain insights and shape go-to-market plans to deliver business objectives.
- Partner with other Oncology Field teams (KAMs, sales reps and DMs, FRMs, OCEs and leaders) on compliant portfolio promotion, pull-through, and reimbursement.
- Coach ABSs to expand Hematology product sales by addressing reimbursement, account efficiencies/processes, and cost issues using professional education and marketing programs.
- Provide solutions to key decision makers at community parent accounts and outlets.
- Coach the ABS team to serve as customer resources for clinical, economic and operational efficiencies, practice management, and payer coverage.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelorβs degree and 5+ years of experience in pharmaceutical, biologic/biotech, or medical device sales.
- 3+ years of people management experience.
- 3+ years of Oncology experience.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, inspire, and motivate others.
- Excellent business acumen, leadership skills, and knowledge of site-of-care operations and reimbursement.
- Valid driverβs license (U.S.) and willingness to travel at least 50% (may include overnight/weekend).
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years of specialty sales experience.
- Previous sales management experience.
- Working knowledge of buy-and-bill products.

Compensation & Benefits (as stated)
- Base pay range: $141,000 to $243,800.
- Eligible for a highly competitive sales incentive compensation program.
- Benefits may include: medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short- and long-term disability, business accident insurance, group legal; pension and 401(k); long-term incentive program.
- Time off: Vacation up to 120 hours/year; Sick time up to 40 hours/year (up to 56 in Washington); Holiday pay including Floating Holidays up to 13 days/year; Work/Personal/Family Time up to 40 hours/year.
