Role Summary
The Senior Manager Healthcare Compliance is responsible for providing day-to-day support regarding all aspects of Arcutis’ Compliance Program, with a particular focus on the company’s interactions with healthcare professionals. Job responsibilities will include providing guidance and support regarding various business activities, with a primary focus on healthcare compliance operations and effective execution of compliance department and corporate initiatives through contracting, auditing, monitoring, state and federal transparency reporting and general program management. In addition, this position will assist with the development and revision of policies and procedures, development and delivery of training, and management of various projects based on the needs of Arcutis’ Compliance Department.
Responsibilities
- Develops and maintains a comprehensive understanding of business, including subject matter expertise on products, strategies and roles and responsibilities across all functions.
- Primary operational support for review and approval of contracts involving services and payments to healthcare professionals.
- Day-to-day management and execution of compliance auditing and monitoring programs.
- Responsible for preparation and management of applicable state marketing/transparency reports and Federal Sunshine Act reports as necessary. Facilitates compliance with state-specific legal requirements and local sales representative/speaker licensing and/or credentialing requirements.
- Provides timely, competent and practical advice and support for questions and concerns regarding the compliance program. Liaise with sales, marketing, medical, finance, accounting, human resources, information technology and business development in all compliance-related activities, as requested.
- Provide training assistance to teams, as needed.
- Assists in ad hoc projects related to general corporate compliance concerns and issues, including developing and/or revising compliance policies, documents, deliverables and training.

- Awareness of federal fraud and abuse laws and guidance, including the ACCME guidelines, the Office of Inspector General reports, and the Food, Drug and Cosmetic Act and an understanding of the roles and authority of government agencies and industry cooperative groups including FDA, OIG, PhRMA, etc.
Education
- BA/BS degree in a relevant discipline and 5 or more years of related experience, or the equivalent combination of education and experience, required.
Additional Requirements
- Must be willing and able to travel approximately 25% within the US, including overnight travel.
