Senior Manager, Global Security Operations, Meetings and Events

General Description

This role plays a key role in advancing BeOneโ€™s global security operations. This position leads risk assessments for new markets and global meetings and events, develops and manages the companyโ€™s event protection program, monitors global threats, and supports the department with real-time intelligence, as needed.

The ideal candidate is a strong analyst and seasoned security generalist -experienced across multiple security functions including security operations, threat intelligence, investigations, and security event planning. Additionally, he/she is a strategic thinker and innovative problem solver. The individual should also possess leadership, team building, and technical strengths that generate confidence in BeOneโ€™s Global Security program internally and externally.

Essential Functions Of The Job

  • Lead security risk assessments for new markets, meetings and events, Congresses, and business activities.
  • Design and manage meetings and event protection programs, including event site reviews and mitigation plans.
  • Analyze global threat intelligence and provide timely, relevant updates to the Global Security Team and business leaders.
  • Supports and may lead investigations related to threats, theft, or policy violations.
  • Creates and maintains a global database of site and event risk assessments, and threat investigations, that others on the Global Security team will utilize.
  • Partner with Global Security Team members, other departments, external partners and different branches of Law Enforcement to ensure integrated risk planning.
  • Serve as the global point of contact for meetings and events security assessments and intelligence.
  • Other duties as needed.

Education Required

  • BA/BS Degree

Qualifications

  • BA/BS Degree with 8+ years progressive corporate security and event security management experience required.
  • 8+ years of diverse experience in corporate security, including security operations, investigations, threat assessment, and event security.
  • Previous Global roles, Security Analyst, law enforcement/military experience desired.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into strategic, easy-to-understand recommendations.
  • Experience supporting global operations; prior military, law enforcement, or international security experience a plus.
  • Experience leading threat assessments and understands a multidisciplinary approach for assessing and managing potential threats posed by individuals.
  • Multilingual capabilities are a plus.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills across all organizational levels.
  • Calm and effective in high-pressure or crisis situations.
  • Confidentiality
  • Multi-lingual capabilities a plus.

Technical Skills

  • Comfortable managing data and reporting insights to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Report writing

Supervisory Responsibilities

  • May lead internal or contract security teams for meetings and events, depending on business needs.

Travel

  • 20% - as needed

Salary Range: $127,300.00 - $172,300.00 annually

BeOne is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. Actual compensation packages are determined by several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to job-related skills, depth of experience, certifications, relevant education or training, and specific work location. Packages may vary by location due to differences in the cost of labor. The recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for a preferred location during the hiring process. Please note that the listed range reflects the base salary or hourly range only. Non-Commercial roles are eligible to participate in the annual bonus plan, and Commercial roles are eligible to participate in an incentive compensation plan.
