Role Summary
Senior Manager, Global Procurement - Direct (Raw Material). Responsible for end-to-end procurement strategies and global category execution in Contract Development and Manufacturing Operations, focusing on direct materials._roles may be based at manufacturing locations in NY or Limerick, requiring onsite work 5 days per week._
Responsibilities
- Develops and executes global/local sourcing strategies for the respective area of spend responsibility and optimizes value within the organization.
- Leads, or collaborates with stakeholder teams to address sourcing needs with market analysis to meet business requirements.
- Manages all aspects of sourcing events, including RFx (RFPs, RFQs, RFIs).
- Develops and executes market sourcing initiatives to optimize value, quality, innovation, speed to market, and other business needs.
- Identifies supply market projects and applies sourcing tools to optimize benefits to Regeneron.

- Negotiate commercial terms of contractual agreements with suppliers, including pricing, delivery, payment terms, and quality.
- Partner with law, quality, risk management, and supply chain to support inclusion of relevant contractual terms and conditions.

- Conduct Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) initiatives, including performance meetings, scorecards, and stakeholder reviews to achieve category strategy goals.
- Develop and implement strategies to drive supplier performance and contracted outcomes (savings, SLAs, delivery, quality).
- Support using contracted suppliers with stakeholders to meet business needs when appropriate.

- Support continuous improvements of the source-to-contract process, including responding to audit requests and participating in compliance reviews.
- Contribute continuous improvement ideas in CI programs and educate stakeholders on sourcing and contract processes.

- Work with stakeholders to support use of contracted suppliers for the spend category under management.
- Review and approve POs in Oracle workflow within approved limits, ensuring contracts and quotes are reflected on POs with executive summaries when applicable.
Qualifications
- Bachelorโs degree plus 8+ years of relevant, progressive experience (preferably 6 years in Pharma/Biotech sourcing); or Masterโs degree plus 6+ years (preferably 4 years in Pharma/Biotech sourcing). CPSM/CPM preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Sourcing Contracting, ERP, and eRFX systems (Oracle, Zycus, iCertis, etc.).
- Ability to use standard business applications for communicating, presenting, and analyzing (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Previous leadership/supervisory experience preferred.
- Advanced negotiation skills and cost modeling knowledge.
- Excellent verbal and written communication; ability to formulate presentations and business cases.
- Ability to build consensus and work effectively in a collaborative team with limited supervision.
- Program management and project management experience required.
Additional Requirements
- This role may be based at manufacturing operations locations in the Capitol Region, NY or Limerick, Ireland, and requires on-site work 5 days per week.
