Role Summary

Senior Manager Global Procurement Direct

Regeneron is seeking a Senior Manager, Global Procurement Direct with experience in end-to-end procurement strategies and proven global category execution. The role reports to a Director of Global Procurement- Direct and is part of a team supporting global procurement objectives.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for supporting the definition and implementation of the global Category strategy to serve global and regional business needs as assigned
• Work closely with partners to manage discussions related to the direct categories and align category priorities with Procurement management and business partners
• Manage negotiations, supplier management activities, and partner engagement activities for categories as assigned
• Takes direction to drive value in terms of cost savings, cash flow improvement, and other efficiency savings from category management activities
• Supports Global Procurement by participating in organizational decisions in direct categories with critical short and long-term impact on the success, efficiency, growth, and results of the category team
• Demonstrates knowledge of efficient global procurement organizations and processes within the biopharmaceutical industry to support the growth and evolution of the Global Procurement organization and leverages this knowledge to drive improvements within Regeneron, aligned with corporate priorities

The Role Might Be For You If Have

• Experience leading category activities to ensure compliance with appropriate GxPs and other applicable regulations
• Negotiates contract terms and conditions in consultation with Law department aligned with Regeneron‚Äôs priorities and business requirements
• May either directly or through a matrix structure, manages teams of professional level employees responsible for performing category management tasks (if applicable)
• Uses data to drive decision-making for successful category projects
• Coaches proficiency on procurement technical skills among global procurement team
• Working knowledge with sourcing contracting tools, ERP‚Äôs, and eRFx systems preferred. (Oracle, Zycus, Ariba, Other)

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field of study plus relevant, progressive experience in procurement, including experience in Pharma/BioPharma
• Sr Manager level: 8+ years of experience in relevant functions or industries, demonstrating growth in experience, scale, and development
• Manager level: 7+ years experience in relevant functions or industries, demonstrating growth in experience, scale, and development
• This role requires working onsite 5 days per week
