Responsibilities:
- Define and implement the global CMO Category strategy to serve global and regional business needs.
- Align category priorities with Procurement management and business partners through cross-functional collaboration.
- Manage negotiations, supplier management, and partner engagement activities for the Packaging Category.
- Drive cost savings, cash flow improvement, and other efficiency gains through category management.
- Participate in organizational decisions within CMO categories that impact short- and long-term category performance.
- Lead category activities to ensure compliance with GxPs and other applicable regulations.
- Negotiate contract terms and conditions in consultation with the Law department, aligned with Regeneron priorities.
- Use data and market knowledge to drive decision-making and continuous improvement across category projects.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and 8+ years of progressive procurement experience, including experience in Pharma/BioPharma or science.
- Experience managing teams of professional-level employees responsible for category management tasks (if applicable).
Preferred skills:
- Working knowledge of sourcing and contracting tools, ERPs, and eRFx systems (e.g., Oracle, Zycus, Ariba).
