The Senior Manager, Medical Affairs Training & Development will support the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of Medical Affairs training curricula with a large focus on gyn-onc. This role contributes to training for both field-based and office-based colleagues, ensuring alignment with scientific priorities and organizational goals.
Responsibilities:
- Support onboarding and training of new Global Medical Affairs (GMA) and Field Medical Affairs (FMA) team members, including scheduling and introductory training delivery
- Collaborate cross-functionally to support training initiatives (e.g., launch readiness and ongoing education)
- Develop, update, and maintain training materials (slide decks and learning resources) aligned to approved scientific content
- Coordinate training logistics and scheduling
- Support continuing education programs (disease state, treatment landscape, scientific data)
- Partner to ensure training materials meet compliance and scientific standards
- Execute training plans by tracking progress, maintaining documentation, and supporting reporting of training activities/outcomes
- Define and implement standard processes, work instructions, and tools to improve training operations
- Provide guidance on training processes, tools, and expectations
- Support adoption of training platforms/systems (e.g., GenSights) to enhance delivery, retention, and insight generation
Requirements:
- Bachelorโs or Masterโs degree in a scientific discipline
- Advanced degree (MD, PharmD, PhD or equivalent) preferred
- 2+ yearsโ relevant experience in pharma/biotech
- Experience in Medical Affairs and/or training and development/field capabilities/learning & development
- Strong written/verbal communication for scientific/training content
- Ability to manage multiple priorities; strong organization and attention to detail
- Cross-functional collaboration; critical thinking and problem-solving
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
- Travel 10โ20% as needed
