Role Summary

Senior Manager, Global Head of Product Marketing, Spatial Biology Division. Lead the Product Marketing team within Bio-Techne Spatial Biology, including ACD and Lunaphore, and drive strategy, visibility, reputation, and sales across the product portfolio. Manage execution of the Annual Marketing Plan and coordinate across global teams.

Responsibilities

  • Define the strategy and activities of the Product Marketing team, including budget, activities, timelines and results; define and ensure execution of the Annual Marketing Strategy and Tactical Plan.
  • Manage a team composed of Product and Applications Marketing and Channel Marketing members, located in Newark, California and Tolochenaz, Switzerland.
  • Support the Commercial Team and Sales funnel by establishing opportunity generation targets and KPIs to feed the sales pipeline, generate high-quality leads across multi-channel strategies, and develop effective nurturing and qualification funnels.
  • Lead, supervise and review Product Marketing activities, including creation of collateral for product promotion and educational activities (brochures, sales decks, website pages), and plan and execute promotional campaigns; monitor Commercial activities and respond to Commercial Team needs to increase sales effectiveness.
  • Lead, supervise and review Applications Marketing activities to prioritize, forecast and disseminate data to support Marketing efforts and increase scientific reputation and market penetration; develop scientific marketing collateral (presentations, posters, publications libraries, tools) to support Commercial Team efforts.
  • Lead, supervise and review Channel Marketing activities, including website/e-commerce, social media, digital marketing, advertising, lead generation and qualification systems architecture/integration, and ongoing tracking, reporting and optimization of Marketing activities.
  • Ensure effective customer-facing communication standards across the organization, including product branding, positioning and messaging; provide guidance and trainings to internal teams and external partners.
  • Build processes and communication channels across Spatial Biology and other Bio-Techne teams to ensure strategic alignment and visibility of Marketing efforts.
  • This position can be remote or located in Newark, CA; East Coast or flexible candidates are encouraged to apply for timezone reasons.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Life Sciences or related field, or a Degree in Marketing with strong scientific understanding.
  • At least 10 years of Life Sciences Marketing experience with both high-capex products and consumables.
  • Strong understanding of ISH, IHC/IF, spatial biology, single-cell or histopathology applications; diagnostic market knowledge is a plus.
  • Extensive experience launching and selling products in academic, biopharma and CRO markets.
  • At least 5 years of personnel management experience managing mid-sized teams (5–10 people).
  • Fluent in English, both oral and written.
