Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate tactical sponsorship planning by aligning internal teams to ensure effective execution and results.
- Contribute to and uphold BMS congress standards to ensure consistent, high-quality, and efficient execution across all congress-related activities.
- Support execution of the congress pre-planning operations roadmap and provide assistance to Senior Managers, Congress Operations, and Planning as needed.
- Support congress planning for major congresses as an Engagement Lead or Tactical Lead (as defined by the Director), while coordinating multiple Tier 1 and Tier 2 congresses and demonstrating multitasking and strategic oversight.
- Support congress communications and briefing content development; proactively engage with cross-functional colleagues to enhance planning and execution and drive continuous process improvement.
- Develop and implement Thought Leader Encounter strategies with cross-functional teams; lead planning, coordination, and budget management for execution at congresses.
- Lead overall booth exhibition, including booth planning, development of materials, booth staffing, and budget management.
- Collect congress metrics and insights to drive outcomes and future decision-making; model BMS behaviors and company values.
- Travel as needed to ensure successful execution and implementation of congresses.
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 5 yearsβ congress management experience, or relevant experience in pharmaceutical marketing and/or medical affairs (preferred).
- College degree required.
- Proven ability to lead without authority and influence across a matrix team.
- Excellent collaboration skills with a diplomatic approach.
- Ability to think strategically, communicate clearly, and negotiate with key stakeholders across a large cross-matrix team.
- Innovative mindset focused on simplification and better/faster/more cost-effective ways of working.
- Proactive, resourceful, results-oriented, self-directed; able to work independently.
- Strong time management and organizational skills; able to handle multiple tasks and meet strict deadlines with a positive attitude.
- Exceptional agility to prioritize and make critical decisions in a changing environment.
- Proven project planning and management skills with strict adherence to timelines.
- Knowledge of global markets and stakeholders.

Compensation & Benefits (if explicitly stated)
- Compensation range: Princeton, NJ, US $122,150 - $148,011.
