Position Summary
- Senior Manager, Full Stack Software Engineer supporting Global Regulatory Sciences (GRS) in an AI-first, agile product environment.
- Accountable for end-to-end build and run of AI-native technology assets that are reliable, accessible, secure, compliant, and cost-effective.

Key Responsibilities
- Own the build, operation, and continuous improvement of AI native Regulatory applications and platforms (including bespoke solutions and AI-enabled SaaS).
- Ensure Regulatory technology assets are stable, secure, compliant, and operationally sound across their lifecycle; remain hands-on to design, build, review, and troubleshoot critical components.
- Develop/maintain an AI-first Regulatory technology roadmap; define reference architectures, reusable patterns, and technical guardrails.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and delivery models (SaaS/PaaS/IaaS); influence vendor roadmaps and negotiations.
- Design, develop, and operate scalable, secure full stack solutions using Python, Java/Node.js, React, REST APIs, and cloud-native architectures.
- Design and operate LLM-native and agentic systems as long-lived products (human-in-the-loop, monitoring, governance, continuous improvement).
- Build/maintain ML and data pipelines for training, validation, deployment, monitoring, retraining, and rollback; implement CI/CD and automate data ingestion/feature engineering/model versioning/deployment.
- Partner with IT Product Managers and GRS stakeholders to plan, prioritize, deliver, and support strategic digital capabilities; translate business needs into measurable impact.
- Manage Total Cost of Ownership (build and run) and ensure cost-efficient, scalable, sustainable solutions.

Required Qualifications
- 6+ years software engineering experience; BioPharma/Life Sciences experience strongly preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; advanced degree preferred.
- Proven delivery of complex production-grade solutions using structured SDLC and Agile in regulated environments.
- Hands-on LLM development and AI coding tools (e.g., Codex, Claude Code, OpenAI).
- Hands-on Generative/Agentic AI systems (e.g., LangChain, LlamaIndex, OpenAI/AWS Bedrock).
- Strong Python and React; familiarity with Java, TypeScript, FastAPI.
- AWS services (Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, Bedrock, SageMaker) and event-driven microservices architectures.
- Git/source control; strong data engineering/analytics (SQL/NoSQL).
- Experience with vendor partners/offshore development.
- Preferred: Regulatory Affairs tech (Veeva RIM, Lorenz DocuBridge, HAQ, labeling).
