Key areas of Focus
- Partner with Finance planning teams to support continuous improvement in planning, forecasting, and long-range planning.
- Partner with project teams and supervise consultants for requirements gathering, technical design, development, UAT, and cutover of an enterprise planning solution.
- Lead root cause analysis and process improvement across financial planning and consolidation; support management reporting requirements.
- Design, develop, and troubleshoot load rules, business rules, and calculation scripts.
- Improve the environment via training documentation and end-user support.
- Develop and maintain documentation on business processes and procedures in compliance with internal control policies.
- Promote automation; send monthly corporate adjustment files for tie to final monthly and quarterly consolidation.
- Facilitate integration of SAP BPC planning (sourcing actuals, reconciliation, data analytics).
- Partner with BTS on technical patches, upgrades, and system/application migrations.
- Provide monthly leadership/steering committee communications.
- Act as BPC subject matter expert; recommend best practices and coordinate with other BPC SMEs.

Qualifications
- 7–10 years progressive accounting/finance experience.
- Bachelor’s in computer science, finance, or accounting (preferred).
- Strong Finance expertise in a large pharmaceutical company.
- Located in Lake County, IL; ability to work in office 3–5 days/week.
- Experience architecting/building/supporting financial planning applications.
- SAP BPC administration and/or implementation experience.
- Strong analytical/technical skills; planning/forecasting/acounting close acumen.
- Excellent verbal/written communication; collaboration; problem-solving; independent and team-oriented; able to work under deadlines.
