Role Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute medical strategy and customer engagement in an assigned territory, coordinating compliantly with cross-functional teams.
- Maintain deep therapeutic area/disease state knowledge, emerging data, standards of care, and Pfizer medicines.
- Provide truthful, balanced, accurate, scientifically supported information to HCPs for unsolicited medical requests in line with Pfizer policies/SOPs/regulations.
- Share medical information and externally derived customer insights to inform medical strategy and execution.
- Identify and discuss gaps between evidence-based care and real-world practice; engage customers in scientific dialogue to understand drivers and opportunities.
- Communicate and collaborate with Medical Affairs, Medical Information, and peers.
- Deliver presentations and scientific communications across live/virtual and written/one-to-one/group formats.
- Ensure patient-centric communications (health literacy and cultural awareness) and support discussions on unmet needs, variability, and barriers to outcomes.
- Deliver approved medical content to HCPs across forums; engage appropriate customer segments (individual HCPs and organized customers).
- Field and manage inbound medical inquiries via Pfizer triage processes.
- Partner on Pfizer-sponsored clinical trials site/investigator identification and engagement; support the Investigator Sponsored Research (ISR) lifecycle.
- Build expertise via literature review, competitive monitoring, congress attendance, and external expert engagement.
- Apply clinical study design/methodology/data interpretation principles in scientific discussions.
- Engage patient advocacy organizations (as appropriate) and deliver insights on structures/capabilities/unmet needs.
- Serve on committees/initiatives and partner with analytics and stakeholders to evolve medical initiatives.
- Represent Medical Affairs professionally; complete internal training; use digital tools to document interactions.

Qualifications (Basic):
- Advanced scientific degree required (e.g., PharmD, PhD, DNP, or equivalent).
- 1+ years relevant experience in clinical practice, clinical research, health services research, or medical affairs with increasing responsibility.
- Experience engaging HCPs in independent scientific exchange/medical decision-making.
- Strong oral/written/presentation and interpersonal skills; ability to manage multiple priorities remotely; matrix/cross-functional collaboration.
- Proficiency with digital technologies/platforms; ability to synthesize evidence, real-world insights, and customer perspectives.
- Experience in designated therapeutic area highly desirable.

Qualifications (Preferred):
- Prior Field Medical or Medical Affairs experience.
- Familiarity with regulations/codes/guidelines governing industry interactions with HCPs.

Travel/Environment:
- Travel 50–80% and operate a Pfizer company car; valid US driver’s license; DUI/DWI in past 7 years disqualifies.
- Must reside in WV/KY/TN/MS.
