Senior Manager, Field Medical, non-MD

Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute medical strategy and compliant customer engagement in assigned territory (WV/KY/TN/MS), coordinating with cross-functional teams.
- Maintain deep scientific/therapeutic knowledge to support balanced, accurate scientific exchange.
- Respond to unsolicited HCP requests with truthful, compliant medical information.
- Share customer insights to inform medical strategy, content, and execution.
- Identify gaps between evidence-based care and real-world practice; engage customers in scientific dialogue to understand drivers and opportunities.
- Communicate via live/virtual and written channels; incorporate health literacy and cultural awareness.
- Deliver approved medical content to HCPs; identify and engage relevant individual and organized customer segments.
- Manage inbound medical inquiries through triage and ensure timely, compliant follow-up.
- Support Investigator Sponsored Research (ISR) and clinical trial site/investigator identification (incl. under-represented populations).
- Cultivate expertise (literature, competitive landscape, congresses, external experts); discuss study design/methodology/data interpretation.
- Engage patient advocacy organizations and deliver insights to inform medical planning.
- Serve on committees/initiatives; represent Medical Affairs professionally; complete required training; use digital tools for documentation.
Qualifications:
- Advanced scientific degree required (PharmD, PhD, DNP, or equivalent).
- 1+ years relevant experience in clinical practice/research/health services/pharma medical affairs with increasing responsibility.
- Required: HCP engagement for independent scientific exchange; strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to manage multiple priorities remotely; matrix experience; adaptability; problem-solving; digital proficiency; synthesize evidence/real-world/customer insights.
- Highly desirable: experience in designated therapeutic area.
Preferred:
- Prior Field Medical or Medical Affairs experience.
- Familiarity with pharmaceutical industry regulations/codes/guidelines for HCP interactions.
Travel/Environment:
- Company car; travel 50β80%; operate in a remote, field-based role. Valid US driverβs license; DUI/DWI within 7 years disqualifies.
Benefits/Compensation (as stated):
- Base salary: $139,100β$231,900; bonus target 17.5%; eligible for long-term incentive; comprehensive benefits including 401(k), paid time off, leave, and medical/dental/vision.
