Role Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute medical strategy and customer engagement in assigned territory (WV/KY/TN/MS) in coordination with cross-functional teams.
- Maintain deep scientific/therapeutic area knowledge (disease states, standards of care, emerging data, Pfizer medicines).
- Provide truthful, balanced, accurate, scientifically supported information to unsolicited HCP requests in line with policies/SOPs/regulations.
- Share medical/customer insights to inform medical strategy, content, and execution.
- Identify and discuss gaps between evidence-based standards of care and real-world practice; engage customers in scientific dialogue.
- Communicate effectively via live/virtual and written channels; ensure patient centricity (health literacy/cultural awareness).
- Deliver approved medical content to HCPs; engage appropriate customer segments.
- Triage and manage inbound medical inquiries with timely, compliant follow-up.
- Support clinical trials (including ISR) through site/investigator engagement and scientific exchange.
- Build expertise via literature review, competitive monitoring, congresses, and external expert engagement.
- Support patient advocacy organization engagement; provide insights on structures/capabilities/unmet needs.
- Serve on committees/initiatives; represent Medical Affairs professionally; complete training/compliance.
- Use digital tools to engage customers and document interactions.

Qualifications:
- MD required.
- 0+ years relevant experience in clinical practice, clinical research, health services research, or pharma/biotech medical affairs (increasing responsibility).
- Required: experience engaging HCPs in independent scientific exchange/medical decision-making.
- Highly desirable: therapeutic area experience.
- Excellent communication; strong interpersonal skills; ability to manage multiple priorities in a remote field environment; matrix/cross-functional collaboration.
- Proficiency with digital technologies; ability to synthesize evidence/real-world insights.

Preferred:
- Prior Field Medical or Medical Affairs experience.
- Familiarity with regulations/codes/guidelines governing pharma-HCP interactions.

Work/Travel:
- Operate a Pfizer company car; travel 50–80%; attend external and HQ meetings.
- Valid US driver’s license.

Compensation/Benefits (if applicable):
- Base salary: $189,200–$315,400; bonus target 22.5% + long-term incentive; comprehensive benefits (401(k), paid leave, medical/dental/vision).
