Role Responsibilities:
- Plan/execute medical strategy and customer engagement in assigned VA/NC/SC territory; coordinate compliantly with cross-functional teams.
- Maintain deep scientific/therapeutic area knowledge and provide truthful, balanced, accurate information for unsolicited HCP requests per Pfizer policies/SOPs/regulations.
- Share medical insights/customer perspectives to inform strategy, content, and execution.
- Identify gaps between evidence-based standards and real-world practice; engage customers in scientific dialogue.
- Deliver approved medical content via live/virtual and written communications; ensure patient-centric, health-literacy/culturally aware engagements.
- Manage inbound medical inquiries via triage processes.
- Support clinical trials and ISR lifecycle activities (investigator engagement/scientific exchange), including under-represented populations.
- Cultivate expertise via literature review, congresses, and external expert engagement; discuss study design/methodology/data interpretation.
- Engage patient advocacy organizations; provide insights on local structures/capabilities/unmet needs.
- Serve on committees; represent Medical Affairs professionally; complete required training; use digital tools to document interactions.

Basic Qualifications:
- MD required.
- 0+ years relevant experience (clinical practice/research/health services/pharma or biopharma medical affairs) with increasing responsibility.
- Experience in independent scientific exchange with HCP medical decision-makers.
- Excellent communication; strong interpersonal/stakeholder management; ability to manage multiple priorities in remote field environment; matrix collaboration; change agility; problem solving; digital proficiency; synthesize evidence/real-world insights to inform medical strategy.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior Field Medical or Medical Affairs experience.
- Knowledge of regulations/codes/guidelines for pharma-HCP interactions.

Travel/Environment:
- Travel 50–80%; operate Pfizer company car; valid US driver’s license (no DUI/DWI in past 7 years).
