Senior Manager, Facilities Site Operations

Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as primary internal customer interface for site facilities operations; partner with IFM service provider.
- Coordinate operational decisions and business requirements with managers/employees and customer representatives.
- Lead, guide, and problem-solve employees; manage complex/unusual issues.
- Manage expense projects and โ€œout of scopeโ€ contracts supporting site operations outside IFM scope.
- Provide technical/administrative support for soft and hard services via external vendor.
- Develop/manage site operating budget; track/report expenditures vs. budget/projections.
- Own site engineering customer interface for capital infrastructure projects; develop/execute CAPX plan.
- Ensure commissioning and turnover of capital projects; ensure compliance with department SOPs and EHS policies.
- Champion site energy initiatives; monitor energy consumption.
- Serve as site owner for site shutdowns; oversee EHS-related auditing.
- Use analytical skills to resolve data inconsistencies; maintain familiarity with facilities database systems.
- Oversee service provider outcomes; verify CPI/KPI/GPI performance; coordinate emergency response.
- Administer policies for day-to-day implementation/interpretation; may support other sites in region.

Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelorโ€™s degree (scientific or business-related) or equivalent education/experience.
- 10+ years in operations, maintenance, and service management for industrial/research/office/utilities.
- Contract procurement/negotiation/management experience.
- Broad technical knowledge of life science facility operations and infrastructure/engineering.
- Ability to manage high-volume, multi-site responsibilities; strong communication/presentation/influence.
- Leadership, ethics, teamwork; understanding of organizational culture and achieving results.
- Financial systems knowledge (budgeting/forecasting, SAP transactions, expense tracking); CMMS knowledge.
- Proficient with MS Office Suite, Ariba, SAP, Maximo, SharePoint.
- Knowledge of GMP/GLP/AAALAC, IQ/OQ/PQ, environmental/building/ADA/OSHA regulations.
- Ability to identify/solve technical problems in complex research systems.
