Senior Manager, Drug Substance

Role: Senior Manager, Drug Substance overseeing development and manufacturing of small molecule APIs for clinical stages, ensuring process scalability, safety, and regulatory compliance. Responsibilities: manage CDMO teams in process scale-up for GLP and GMP studies, facilitate technology transfers, review batch records, address process chemistry challenges, and develop technical documentation. Qualifications: B.S./M.S. in Chemistry, 6+ years in small molecule process chemistry, extensive experience in process development, tech transfer, and cGMP requirements. Preferred: strong project management skills, ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, and excellent communication. High-Value: focus on small molecule drug development, process scale-up, and transfer; experience with early to late-stage GMP clinical manufacturing; collaboration with CDMOs across phases. Work setup: hybrid Boston, with some travel expected.
