Position Senior Manager, Development to Launch Analytics

Position Summary
- Join the PDS Analytics team (BI&T) to partner with Product Development and Supply to answer key business questions and drive strategy using advanced data science and analytics.
- Develop and own machine learning, statistical, and quantitative models to guide decisions across end-to-end drug development and product launch activities; operationalize, interpret, and maintain models using DevOps and business reporting.

Key Responsibilities
Supporting Business Decisions
- Drive fact-based decision-making for business/portfolio prioritization.
- Develop and maintain knowledge of PDS priorities (CMC development, new product introduction).
- Build stakeholder relationships and influence senior leaders to adopt analytics-derived insights.

Driving Analytics and Capabilities
- Answer complex problems with innovative analytics/data science; develop AI/ML models, ETL processes, and statistical methodologies.
- Build capability in data automation, cloud computing, and data lake integration.
- Identify opportunities to leverage data/analytics tools.
- Lead and/or manage multiple projects end-to-end; define standards and escalation processes for analytics.

Driving Team Productivity and Operational Excellence
- Ensure adoption of coding best practices/standards and data analysis methodologies; enhance team productivity.
- Support enterprise standards; author documentation; conduct walkthroughs and peer reviews.

Qualifications & Experience
- BS in business analytics/data science/engineering/finance or quantitative field (advanced degree preferred).
- 5+ years applied machine learning/statistical models/time-series modeling/quantitative forecasting.
- 5+ years SQL and Python and/or R in production/operational environments.
- Data architecture/database concepts; probabilistic methods (Monte Carlo, probability theory, Bayesian).
- Production-grade coding with version control (significant plus).
- Life sciences/pharma experience (strongly preferred).
- Strong project management, critical thinking, problem-solving, collaboration/communication, and ability to learn quickly.
- Proven ability to lead small teams/groups and prioritize multiple deliverables.
