Position Summary
The Senior Manager, Denver Operations & Supply Chain is fully accountable for the performance, reliability, and scalability of operations at the Denver site. Leads customer service, planning, purchasing, supplier execution, inventory management, warehouse operations, logistics, and fulfillment in a life sciences environment.
Core Accountabilities
- Own end-to-end operational site performance (OTD, backlog, inventory health, supplier reliability, execution stability).
- Translate strategic site needs into executable action; establish disciplined operating cadence.
- Own planning execution: replenishment accuracy, lead time adherence, backlog reduction, stock availability.
- Build/strengthen planning processes and controls; translate demand signals into supply/inventory plans.
- Own inventory performance: accuracy, turns, stockouts, excess/obsolescence reduction; cycle count discipline and controls.
- Own supplier execution: on-time delivery, lead time reliability, responsiveness; set expectations, escalation paths, corrective actions.
- Ensure warehouse/logistics excellence: receiving timeliness, pick/pack accuracy, throughput, compliance; improve material flow and standard work.
- Ensure relabeling/handling/shipping meet quality and regulatory requirements.
- Define and manage KPIs (OTD, supplier OTD, inventory accuracy, turns, stockouts, backlog, lead time); build visual reporting; lead continuous improvement.
- Build and lead high-accountability teams across customer service, planning, purchasing, inventory, and warehouse operations.
Education & Experience
- Bachelorβs degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, or related field (required).
- 8+ years operations and/or supply chain leadership; 5+ years leading complex, execution-heavy teams.
- Proven track record building processes and stabilizing operations.
- Buy/sell, distribution, or life sciences experience (strongly preferred).
- Strong ERP, data, and operational problem-solving skills.
- Lean/continuous improvement experience (required).
