Position Summary
- Data Protection & Insider Risk Senior Specialist (U.S.-based, hybrid; Lawrenceville, NJ)
- Lead China-focused data security/DLP investigations and incident response; partner with global teams and China stakeholders to ensure compliant data protection.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate cross-functionally; support DLP engineering teams (India, Switzerland) to develop/implement China-tailored DLP policies.
- Triaging alerts; conduct investigations; escalate non-compliance events.
- Perform periodic risk assessments; develop mitigation action plans.
- Review/update response plan for DLP policy non-compliance.
- Develop/maintain performance metrics for China data protection.
- Track DLP/data security technology trends and recommend system improvements.
China Specific Focus (Required)
- Fluent in Mandarin Chinese (and local writing systems) and English.
- Deep understanding of China business culture; experience with China-based stakeholders.
- Knowledge of collaboration technologies used in China.
- Strong grasp of China laws/regulations/standards/trade barriers impacting data protection.
Qualifications (Required)
- 5+ years in data security and DLP; strong cyber security, risk management, and compliance background.
- Proven DLP incident-response investigation experience.
- Familiarity with DLP tech (encryption, access controls, ticketing) and SIEM.
- Bachelorβs degree in CS, information security, or related field.
- Strong analytical/problem-solving and communication skills.
Compensation/Benefits (as stated)
- $143,230β$173,555 (Princeton, NJ). Additional incentives may apply.
