Role Summary
Senior Manager Data Products β Therapeutic Area (TA) shapes and delivers user-centric, high-value data products enabling advanced analytics, data science, and AI/ML across the TA.
Key Responsibilities
- Own delivery of TA-facing data products; translate use cases into functional/technical requirements.
- Execute a TA data product roadmap aligned to enterprise strategy across discovery, translational research, clinical development, and real-world evidence.
- Lead/support agile delivery aligned to FAIR principles (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, Reusable).
- Integrate/harmonize internal & external data (clinical trial data, omics, imaging, competitor intelligence, registries, RWD/RWE).
- Contribute to TA ontology/metadata/semantic enablement; align semantic models to standards (e.g., CDISC, GA4GH, FHIR, NCI Thesaurus).
- Collaborate with Data Science, clinical/translational stakeholders, architecture/governance, knowledge/master data teams, and IT/compliance/regulatory partners.
- Lead product owners/data engineers/TA domain experts; support governance/agile practices; coach/mentor.
- Define/monitor KPIs; communicate progress/value and champion adoption/reuse.
Qualifications
- PhD or Masterβs in Informatics, Computer Science, Data Science, Life Sciences, or related.
- 6β10+ years in pharma/biotech R&D focused on data products/engineering/analytics platforms/data science.
- Experience delivering domain-specific TA data products; working with multi-modal data (omics, imaging, translational/clinical trial, RWD/RWE).
- Strong data product design, modeling, integration, transformation; knowledge of metadata/ontologies/semantic models/knowledge graphs; familiarity with research/clinical/regulatory data needs.
