Role Summary
- Own delivery of Therapeutic Area (TA)-facing, user-centric data products that enable advanced analytics, data science, and AI/ML across preclinical, translational, clinical, competitive intelligence, and real-world data (RWD/RWE).
- Translate TA scientific/analytics needs into scalable, reusable, AI-ready data products aligned to enterprise standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver TA data products by translating use cases into functional/technical requirements; execute a TA data product roadmap.
- Support agile delivery and adherence to FAIR (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, Reusable).
- Integrate and harmonize internal/external data (clinical trials, omics, imaging, competitor intelligence, registries, RWE datasets).
- Develop/curate TA ontologies; align semantic models/metadata with standards (e.g., CDISC, GA4GH, FHIR, NCI Thesaurus) and enable AI-ready semantics.
- Partner cross-functionally (TA Data Science, clinical/translational/scientific stakeholders, governance/architecture/MDM/knowledge management, IT/compliance/regulatory).
- Lead product owners and data/domain experts; mentor and support governance/agile practices.
- Define product KPIs; communicate outcomes and drive adoption/reuse/data literacy.

Qualifications
- Education: PhD or Master’s in Informatics, CS, Data Science, Life Sciences, or related.
- Experience: 6–10+ years in pharma/biotech R&D focused on data products/engineering/analytics/data science; experience delivering domain-specific TA data products.
- Skills/Knowledge: multi-modal data (omics, imaging, translational, clinical trials, RWD/RWE); data product design/modeling/integration/transformation; metadata/ontologies/semantic models/knowledge graphs; regulatory data familiarity; standards alignment (e.g., CDISC, GA4GH, FHIR); collaboration/influence across scientific/technical/business teams; drive change in matrix organizations.
