Position Summary
Senior Manager, Competitive Intelligence (CI) supports a comprehensive CI program for BMSβ multiple myeloma portfolio (focus on GPRC5D and BCMA x GPRC5D CAR T). Point of contact for ~3β4 primary stakeholders; delivers timely, strategic intelligence, manages external CI vendors/partners, and leverages internal tools/platforms (including AI). Reports to VP, Competitive Intelligence and Strategic Foresight.
Key Responsibilities / Core Activities
- Execute CI strategic plan for select MM areas; align to stakeholder priorities/KITs/KIQs.
- Assess competitive environment and emerging scientific data to inform R&D, clinical, regulatory, access, and commercial strategies.
- Conduct research/analyses; synthesize insights into actionable recommendations for cross-functional stakeholders.
- Implement internal CI model; manage vendors/partners and internal intelligence networks.
- Manage CI activities within budget; ensure dissemination/access to competitive intelligence.
- Respond to ad hoc key business questions with expert, timely analysis.
Qualifications
- BA/BS required; MBA/PharmD/PhD preferred.
- 3+ years competitive intelligence (primary/secondary research) or relevant experience.
- Experience designing/facilitating competitive simulation workshops.
- Hematology/cell therapy experience preferred (multiple myeloma preferred).
- Strong strategic thinking, synthesis/analysis, and oral/written communication.
- Strong project leadership, interpersonal skills, and ability to work in complex, rapidly changing environments.
- Familiarity with CI data sources desirable (e.g., Evaluate Pharma, GlobalData, Citeline, PubMed, SEC filings, clinical trial registries).
- Data visualization/strategic storytelling and AI-enabled tools preferred.
Compensation & Benefits (as stated)
- Starting range: $152,150β$184,370 (Madison/Giralda, NJ and Princeton, NJ).
