The Senior Manager Commercial Training will be responsible for overseeing the operational function of Teva’s schizophrenia training for sales employees and will contribute to a key launch for Teva.
Responsibilities
Coordinate launch readiness activities by leading or supporting initiatives such as POA meetings, workshops, and certification programs to ensure field force preparedness for launching medication.
Lead the development, implementation, and assessment of programs that enhance psychiatry knowledge across sales teams.
Partner with sales and marketing leadership to identify needs and development opportunities and address them with learning solutions that enhance the sales force and sales management.
Plan with sales and marketing leadership to launch solutions at optimal times and oversee strategic communications to maximize uptake of programs.
Programs may include new hire training, existing sales force training, POAs, and mass model activities to ensure consistency.
Execute blended training programs at new hire training, national meetings, regional meetings, and other events.
Coach, teach and train sales associates during training events; provide feedback to field managers for ongoing development.
Evaluate classroom curriculum and keep training current and relevant for the field.
Stay current with training trends by attending professional meetings and trainer development events.
Suggest solutions aligned with the organization’s strategic priorities.
Understand the regulatory environment for each branded solution and follow proper approval processes.
Demonstrate vendor management skills for optimal and on-time solutions.
Leverage emerging training innovations to ensure optimal outcomes.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required
7+ years of pharmaceutical experience in sales, marketing, sales leadership, or training/development
4+ years home office therapeutic training experience (field experience strongly preferred)
Experience in Psychiatry and/or Neurology preferred

Education
Bachelor’s degree required
7+ years of pharmaceutical experience in one or more of the following areas: sales, marketing, sales leadership or training/development
4+ years home office therapeutic training experience; field experience strongly preferred
Experience in Psychiatry and/or Neurology preferred
Additional Requirements
Travel: Approximately 20% domestic travel throughout the US
Physical requirements: Sitting for extended periods; visual acuity for computer work, data preparation, and reading
Working environment: May require PPE on site visits as needed
