Senior Manager, Commercial Manufacturing, Drug Substance

Role: Senior Manager, Commercial Manufacturing, Drug Substance at Revolution Medicines, overseeing external API manufacturing to support late-stage development, process validation, and commercial supply. Responsibilities include managing technology transfer, capacity planning, process optimization, risk mitigation, and supplier oversight; ensuring compliance with GMP standards; and collaborating with cross-functional teams (Process Chemistry, Quality, Regulatory, Supply Chain). Requires technical leadership in small molecule drug substance manufacturing, including CPV and lifecycle management. Qualifications: Bachelor's in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry or related; 8-10+ years’ relevant industry experience in small molecule development, process validation, and commercial manufacturing; proven CDMO management and regulatory knowledge. Preferred: strategic leadership, strong technical depth, team development, and operational excellence. High-value biopharma specifics include small molecule oncology APIs, late-stage development, GMP compliance, process validation, and capacity expansion. The work setup is onsite at Redwood City, CA, with up to 25% domestic/international travel.
