Role Summary

The Senior Manager of Forecasting is responsible for developing forecasts for a subset of Teva’s products. This role focuses on delivering accurate forecasts, rigorous analyses, and actionable insights that support goal setting and enable the achievement of strategic and financial objectives across brands within Teva’s therapeutic areas. The role requires close collaboration with Insights and Analytics, Marketing/Brand, Sales, Finance, Supply Chain, and Medical teams. Effective communication of forecasts through clear, concise narratives is essential to educate the organization on product performance trajectories and shaping brand strategy. Location: Parsippany, NJ (hybrid: 3 days/week onsite).

Responsibilities

  • Develop models for sales trending, forecasting, business planning, and long-range planning.
  • Provide forecast outputs to Finance, Marketing, Sales Operations, and Supply Planners for use in official financial forecasts, sales quotas and incentive comp, and supply plan forecasts.
  • Work closely with US brand teams and a Director of Forecasting on development of inline and pipeline forecasts.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to determine appropriate forecast model designs, formulate key assumptions, and align with business partners.
  • Work cross-functionally and with the Director of Forecasting to bring appropriate analogues/historical knowledge to project impact of promotional efforts, market access changes, competitive events, scientific developments, regulatory evolution, etc.

Qualifications

  • Required: Minimum 3 years of pharmaceutical, healthcare, or related industry experience.
  • Preferred: Inline/pipeline forecasting experience; Data Analytics, Consulting, Investment Banking, and Equity Research backgrounds also encouraged to apply.
  • Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Analytics, Economics.
  • Preferred: MBA or master’s degree in Analytics/Statistics.

Skills

  • Intellectual curiosity to go beyond the numbers/bring strategic ideas and insights.
  • Strong technical skills to build forecasting tools, leverage secondary data and rollout to US Innovative Medicines team.
  • Ability to collect forecasting data from models and organize for data lake consolidation platform.
  • Proven excellent communication and collaborative skills.
  • Industry knowledge, understanding of regulatory environment, and good grasp of access dynamics.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Analytics, Economics (preferred).
  • MBA or master’s degree in Analytics/Statistics (a plus).

Additional Requirements

  • Travel: Approximately 5-10% domestic travel throughout the US and Canada.
