Position Summary
Senior Manager, Cloud Scrum Master to drive Agile transformation and delivery excellence within the Cloud Engineering team.
Responsibilities
- Serve as Scrum Master for Cloud Engineering; foster collaboration, accountability, and innovation.
- Lead adoption and scaling of Agile frameworks for Cloud Agile projects.
- Advocate for ethical/responsible cloud practices and ensure compliance with regulations and company policies.
- Develop and track Agile metrics/KPIs.
- Partner with Product Owners, Tech Leads, Cloud Developers/Engineers, and business stakeholders to define MVP vision/goals, manage backlogs, and deliver solutions.
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration; remove impediments and optimize workflows.
- Guide vendor/partner Agile implementations.
- Lead onboarding for new team members/initiatives.
- Support training on Agile, JIRA, and intelligent workflows.
- Communicate Agile value and translate technical Cloud/AI/data concepts for non-technical audiences.
- Gather feedback and drive continuous improvement of Agile practices.
Qualifications (Required/Preferred)
- BS in CS/Engineering/Life Sciences/Business Administration or related; MS preferred.
- 7+ years relevant experience; 3+ years as Scrum Master or Agile Coach in tech/pharma/biotech/healthcare.
- Proven experience leading Agile teams (application/digital/data initiatives).
- Cross-functional leadership and vendor/partner collaboration.
- Strong PM skills (sprint planning, backlog refinement, deliverable coordination).
- Excellent communication; ability to communicate Cloud/AI/data concepts.
- Familiarity with compliance/governance (e.g., GxP, data privacy, regulatory requirements).
- Solution-oriented troubleshooting.
- Preferred: JIRA, Confluence, AWS/Azure/GCP.
Work Location Protocol
- Site-essential: 100% onsite. Site-by-design: hybrid with at least 50% onsite. Field/remote-by-design: travel to visit customers/patients/partners as directed.
