Responsibilities:
- Plan and manage investigational medicinal product (IMP) supply to ensure uninterrupted patient dosing.
- Create/maintain study forecast and supply plans; develop clinical labels; execute packaging/labeling; manage distribution, inventory, and returns/reconciliation.
- Build/update clinical supplies distribution plans based on study timelines, trial design, program changes, recruitment, geography, and manufacturing schedules.
- Source ancillary supplies and ensure compatibility with IMP.
- Develop/manage SOPs, work instructions, processes, systems, and forms for clinical supplies management (GxP/industry + regulatory-aligned).
- Manage IMP shelf-life extensions, temperature deviation management, product complaints, and investigations.
- Identify vendors; oversee global network of clinical CMOs (from DP release to final packaged goods/label/pack execution and component/material availability).
- Coordinate manufacturing requirements; drive CMO capability/capacity; manage CMO pack activities and partner performance.
- Prepare RFQs/SOWs and negotiate supply agreements.
- Serve as manufacturing outsourcing team leader as needed; support QA agreements and Product Specific Requirements (PSRs).
- Apply expertise to solve complex problems and champion process improvements.
Requirements:
- 4-year degree (relevant discipline preferred).
- Thorough knowledge of GMP, GCP, ICH standards for IMP labeling/packaging/global distribution.
- Strong vendor management; proactive, accurate, timely execution with minimal supervision.
- MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Smartsheet; team or independent work.
- Clear interpersonal, written, and verbal communication; strong problem-solving, prioritization, collaboration, organization, multitasking, and attention to detail.
Preferred:
- 6–8+ years in clinical supply chain management and/or PM.
- Experience with electronic interactive response technologies for inventory management.
- ERP experience.
Compensation/Benefits:
- Wisconsin: $140,000–$160,000; California: $160,000–$180,000.
