Role Summary

Senior Manager, Clinical Supply Chain, Logistics responsible for depot storage, site distribution, drug return and destruction, and logistics-related depot performance management in AMER regions. Leads distribution and return/destruction procedures, ensures accurate documentation, and maintains logistics data and systems in BeOne.

Responsibilities

  • Focus on Depot storage, site distribution, drug return & destruction, and depot performance management in AMER regions.
  • Work with Supply Chain Lead and depot PM to set up distribution and return/destruction procedures for studies.
  • Coordinate regular depot-level drug destruction, archive certificates of destruction and disposition reports in e-TMF accurately and timely.
  • Manage depot monthly reports, conduct regular stock-taking and reconciliation for depot storage.
  • Support storage insurance data calculation and reporting.
  • Coordinate or organize site-to-site transfer shipments as needed.
  • Arrange onboarding trainings for new depot vendors as required.
  • Support new system development and maintain logistics data and functions in existing systems.
  • Collaborate with QA, Finance, Tax, Procurement, Legal, RA and other internal departments on logistics issues; coordinate with external authorities (Customs, FDA) as needed.
  • Coordinate internal or external functions for import/export permit applications; use IRT to check shipment status as needed.
  • Ensure accurate and timely logistics data entry and document uploads in BeOnes systems per procedures.
  • Support BeOne IOR and import tax deferral setup; manage BeOne IOR across countries; assist with import VAT refund.
  • Ensure compliance with internal procedures and external regulations related to import/export; raise compliance issues to management.
  • Lead and measure processes to ensure logistics operations are performed with excellence; collaborate with QA on audit readiness and process control; participate in logistics audits as needed.
  • Support FDA inspections, internal audits, and external audits as needed for logistics data preparation per study or compound level.
  • Facilitate and coordinate with courier and depot vendors on pre-conditioned shipping, temperature data loggers, pickup appointments, expedited orders, and emergency deliveries.
  • Manage depot vendor performance and report depot KPIs to senior management.
  • Ensure cross-border movement requirements function smoothly; identify and manage issues and risks.
  • Set up deviations, corrective actions, and preventive actions in BeOne quality system for logistics incidents; investigate with internal and external parties.
  • Monitor daily expenses to use financial capital efficiently.
  • Review training materials, WI, SOP, and GS to ensure understanding and alignment with job requirements.
  • Respond promptly to managerial directions; consult with line manager as needed.
  • Remain up-to-date with latest requirements and updates related to the role.
  • Schedule regular meetings with line manager or function owners to ensure alignment and address concerns.
  • Evaluate task accuracy, thoroughness, and timeliness to meet job standards.
  • Follow Logistics team requirements; respond to urgent requests within 24 hours; reply to emails within 2 working days.
  • Record and monitor tasks to meet deadlines; maximize productivity using tools like Outlook, OneNote, Excel, Smartsheet, and eLogistics.
  • Consult with managers for clarification; participate in cross-functional training to broaden knowledge.
  • Complete trainings related to WI, SOP, and GS via LMS and BeOne University.
  • Perform other duties in a dynamic startup environment.
  • Proficiency with Mandarin is highly preferred.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or above; 7+ years of related experience required.
