Role Summary

Senior Manager, Clinical Supply Chain, Logistics responsible for depot storage, site distribution, drug return and destruction, and logistics performance management in AMER regions. Collaborates with Supply Chain Lead and depot PM to set up distribution and return/destruction procedures for studies and ensures compliance with internal procedures and external regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Focusing on depot storage, site distribution, drug return & destruction, and depot performance management in AMER regions.
  • Set up distribution and return/destruction procedures for studies with Supply Chain Lead and depot PM.
  • Coordinate regular depot-level drug destruction, archive certificates of destruction and disposition reports in e-TMF timely.
  • Manage depot monthly reports, conduct stock-taking and reconciliation for depot storage as needed.
  • Support storage insurance data calculation and reporting.
  • Coordinate or organize site-to-site transfer shipments as needed.
  • Arrange new depot vendor onboarding trainings as required.
  • Support system development and maintain logistics data and functions in existing systems.
  • Work with QA, Finance, Tax, Procurement, Legal, RA and other internal departments on logistics issues.
  • Coordinate with external authorities (e.g., Customs, FDA) on logistics issues as needed.
  • Coordinate internal/external functions for import/export permit applications.
  • Use IRT to check shipment status as needed.
  • Ensure accurate and timely data entry and document uploads in BeOne systems per procedures.
  • Support BeOne IOR and import tax deferral setup; manage IOR in different countries and assist with import VAT refunds as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with import/export procedures; raise compliance issues to management.
  • Lead and measure processes to ensure logistics operations are completed with excellence.
  • Collaborate with QA to ensure audit readiness and participate in logistics audits as needed.
  • Support FDA inspections, internal/external audits as needed for logistics data preparation per study or compound level.
  • Coordinate with courier and depot vendors on service aspects including temperature data loggers, pickups, expedited orders, and emergency deliveries.
  • Manage depot vendor performance and report KPIs to senior management.
  • Ensure cross-border movements run smoothly; identify and manage issues/risks.
  • Set up deviations, corrective/preventive actions in BeOne quality system; investigate incidents with internal/external parties as needed.
  • Manage daily expenses to use financial capital efficiently.
  • Review training materials, WI, SOP, and GS to ensure understanding and alignment with job requirements.
  • Respond promptly to managerial directions; consult with line manager as needed.
  • Stay up-to-date with role requirements; schedule regular alignment meetings with line manager or function owners.
  • Evaluate task accuracy, thoroughness, and timeliness to meet job standards.
  • Follow Logistics team requirements; respond to urgent requests within 24 hours; reply to emails within 2 working days.
  • Monitor tasks to meet deadlines; maximize productivity with tools like Outlook, OneNote, Excel, Smartsheet, and eLogistics.
  • Seek clarification from managers or process owners as needed; participate in cross-functional training.
  • Complete trainings related to WI/SOP/GS via LMS and BeOne University; perform other duties in a dynamic startup environment.
  • Mandarin proficiency is highly preferred.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or above with 7+ years of related experience.
