Shifts Available:
- Monday–Friday, 2pm–11pm
Responsibilities:
- Serve as manufacturing functional area owner and manage commercial and clinical manufacturing teams/areas.
- Hire, mentor, and develop personnel; conduct performance reviews and support career growth.
- Champion teamwork and communication across the organization.
- Ensure appropriate training for CAR-T GMP manufacturing in a multi-product commercial facility.
- Build cross-functional relationships with Quality, Supply Chain, MS&T, EHS, and F&E.
- Ensure safety and patient safety through compliance with company procedures/policies and cGMP requirements.
- Plan for and execute commercial and clinical operations for a licensed CAR-T product in the Devens CTF Manufacturing Plant.
- Establish department goals; track/report KPIs; drive continuous improvement via innovation and lean manufacturing initiatives.
- Author/review/approve SOPs, batch records, material specifications, training materials, and validation protocols/reports.
- Develop and communicate project goals, strategy, and timelines with manufacturing management.
- Implement and operate manufacturing systems that comply with cGMP and enable efficient operations.
- Maintain schedules for people, facility, equipment, materials, and documents to support multi-product capacity.
- Identify/mitigate manufacturing risks impacting delivery of safe/effective therapies.
- Lead inspection readiness/right-first-time manufacturing initiatives.
- Establish team policies, org/shift structure, and career ladders.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant science/engineering or equivalent experience.
- Lean Manufacturing knowledge.
- Ability to work in cleanroom PPE; may include head/face/core/legs/feet coverage.
- Ability to work near strong magnets.
- 8+ years relevant pharmaceutical/regulated industry experience.
- 6+ years supervising staff in a management role.
