Responsibilities:
- Lead the Marketing Operations (MOPS) Procurement category for Innovative Medicine spend (~$250MM) supporting ~ $60Bn global revenue.
- Define global MOPS business needs/priorities and develop procurement strategies to advance them.
- Incorporate industry trends into MOPS category strategy.
- Develop and implement end-to-end, multi-region, multi-year MOPS procurement strategy to create/extract value.
- Build strategic supplier partnerships; manage performance and drive innovation; ensure alignment with SRM objectives (quality, reliability, innovation, cost) and responsible sourcing/sustainable suppliers.
- Set and achieve performance targets (e.g., savings, cash flow, responsible sourcing).
- Lead major global strategic negotiations for owned MOPS initiatives.
- Coordinate with Global/Regional Procurement teams, Global Services, Responsible Sourcing, and Procurement Digital/Process & Capabilities; collaborate with senior business leaders.
- Ensure processes/policies/guidelines/content support end-user efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Bachelorβs degree required.
- Minimum 10 years of related work experience.
- Core procurement proficiency (market analysis, category/supplier management, operational excellence).
- Strong problem-solving, business acumen, leadership/influencing/collaboration, communication to senior executives.
- Project/change management; learning agility.
