Senior Manager – Analytical AI, Clinical Development (Analytical AI, Clinical Development)

Job Position Summary
Design and deploy machine learning pipelines to optimize clinical trial operations. Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver AI-based solutions and integrate them into business processes.

Key Responsibilities
- Create, implement, and optimize end-to-end machine learning pipelines for clinical study design and execution.
- Automate workflows to process and analyze complex datasets (e.g., clinical trial protocols, real-world evidence, patient recruitment data).
- Ensure scalability, reliability, and robustness of ML solutions for real-time decision support.
- Co-develop AI-driven solutions with cross-functional teams (IT, medical, development, biostatistics).
- Liaise between technical and non-technical stakeholders to align objectives and ensure successful delivery.
- Translate technical insights and model results into actionable strategies for clinical operations teams.
- Oversee the AI product lifecycle (ideation, development, deployment, monitoring).
- Develop and execute project plans aligned to clinical development timelines.
- Conduct post-deployment analysis to measure impact and drive continuous improvement.
- Stay current with AI/data science advancements (e.g., NLP, predictive analytics) for clinical trial workflows.

Qualifications
- Education: BA/BS in a quantitative field (data science, computer science, mathematics, or related); advanced degrees (MBA, MS, Ph.D.) preferred.
- Experience: 3+ years hands-on ML pipeline development/deployment for real-world business problems; demonstrated measurable impact via AI/advanced analytics.

Required Skills
- Statistical methods applied to business problems (preferably clinical development).
- Supervised, unsupervised, and reinforcement learning using frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn.
- Time series forecasting and Monte Carlo simulations.
- Proficiency in Python and SQL.
- CI/CD and Git/GitHub version control.
- MLOps workflows, cloud environments (AWS/Azure), and orchestration tools (Airflow/Dagster).

Preferred Skills
- Natural Language Processing and Large Language Models.
- Real-world datasets (RWD).
- Bioinformatics/computational biology.
- Streamlit/Dash/Shiny app development.
- Knowledge of drug development and clinical trial operations.
- Experience managing AI product lifecycles and integrating solutions into business operations.
