Senior Manager β Analytical AI in Clinical Development
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deploy end-to-end machine learning pipelines to optimize clinical study design and execution.
- Automate workflows to process/analyze complex datasets (clinical trial protocols, real-world evidence, patient recruitment data).
- Ensure scalability, reliability, and robustness for real-time decision support.
- Partner with cross-functional teams (IT, medical, development, biostatistics) to co-develop AI solutions aligned to business priorities.
- Translate technical insights/model results into actionable clinical operations strategies.
- Oversee AI product lifecycle (ideation β development β deployment β monitoring) with project plans aligned to clinical timelines; conduct post-deployment impact analysis.
- Continuously integrate AI advancements (e.g., NLP, predictive analytics) into clinical trial workflows.
Qualifications
- Education: BA/BS in quantitative field; MS/MBA/Ph.D. preferred.
- Experience: 3+ years hands-on ML pipeline development/deployment with measurable business impact.
Required/Preferred Skills
- Statistical methods; supervised/unsupervised/RL with TensorFlow/PyTorch/scikit-learn.
- Time series forecasting; Monte Carlo simulations.
- Proficient in Python and SQL.
- CI/CD + Git/GitHub; MLOps; cloud (AWS/Azure); orchestration (Airflow/Dagster).
- Highly preferred: NLP + LLMs; RWD; plus bioinformatics/computational biology; Streamlit/Dash/Shiny.
- Communication/presentation; leadership and stakeholder collaboration.
