Job Title: Senior Manager, AI and Data Science (Hybrid, Conshohocken PA)
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end development of machine learning and AI models (problem framing through deployment and evaluation).
- Collaborate with data scientists, ML engineers, and cross-functional partners to design and deliver AI solutions.
- Identify high-value AI opportunities that enhance Commercial, Medical, and enterprise processes.
- Build and optimize AI agents and orchestration workflows using LangGraph, LlamaIndex, or CrewAI.
- Develop modular/reusable components for reasoning, retrieval, tool integration, and workflow automation.
- Develop end-to-end agentic frameworks with agent connectors, MCP tools, and integrated interfaces (with the Agentic UI team).
- Design and deploy ML models for recommendation, personalization, and decision-support systems.
- Apply embeddings, graph methods, and generative model integration to healthcare and Commercial challenges.
- Build AI solutions for Commercial use cases in Healthcare/Life Sciences.
- Partner with data engineering for scalable, ML-ready pipelines and model monitoring.
- Use platforms such as Databricks for model development, optimization, and operationalization.
- Communicate complex AI concepts clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Align AI initiatives with enterprise governance, privacy, and compliance expectations.
Qualifications (Required)
- Master’s or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Statistics, or related field.
- 7+ years data science and applied machine learning.
- 3+ years implementing/deploying ML/AI in production.
- 1+ year hands-on agentic AI using LangGraph, LlamaIndex, or CrewAI.
- Experience with patient-level data and feature engineering.
- Experience building recommender systems (or related ML).
- Proficiency in Python; PyTorch, Scikit-learn, MLflow; Spark and SQL.
- Collaboration across scientific/technical/business teams.
- Strong communication skills.
- Healthcare or Life Sciences experience.
Qualifications (Preferred)
- Databricks and modern cloud-based ML development.
- Agent production deployment experience.
- Track record building AI solutions in Healthcare/Life Sciences.
