Position Summary:
The Accounting Senior Manager leads and executes monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes to ensure timely, accurate, GAAP-compliant financial reporting. Oversees general ledger, intercompany accounting, payroll accounting, cash application, and internal control compliance.

Responsibilities:
- Own and manage month-end close calendar; review journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations.
- Review/analyze monthly financial statements; maintain supporting schedules (prepaids, accruals, fixed assets, payroll, intercompany, balance sheet accounts).
- Identify period-end adjustments and resolve discrepancies before deadlines.
- Ensure accurate payroll accounting with HR and payroll processors.
- Ensure adherence to U.S. GAAP and internal policies; maintain chart of accounts and accounting master data.
- Partner with AP/AR/Payroll/FP&A/Treasury to ensure transactions are captured correctly.
- Lead intercompany matching and cross-charge allocations/recharges; coordinate foreign subsidiary GAAP alignment for consolidation.
- Oversee cash application and credit card processing; manage invoice/document upload to customer portals.
- Prepare SOX control documentation; ensure remediation and provide audit support.
- Prepare monthly reporting packages with variance analysis; provide leadership insights.
- Provide day-to-day guidance to staff; support system/process enhancements.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance or related field; CPA or equivalent preferred.
- 8–10 years progressive relevant experience; 5+ years management experience preferred.
- Experience with ERP (SAP, Oracle, D365, NetSuite, or similar).
- Advanced Excel (pivots, formulas, analysis).

Skills/Abilities (preferred/desired):
- Strong analytical/detail focus; excellent communication; manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
- Experience with contracts with multiple performance obligations and royalties (highly desirable).

Working Conditions:
- Onsite during standard business hours; occasional extended hours as needed.
