The Position:
- Lead accounting and financial close activities supporting DPM US manufacturing operations.
- Ensure integrity of financial reporting, balance sheet governance, internal controls, and accurate/timely accounting outcomes.
- Drive people leadership, audit readiness, and continuous improvement in a complex, regulated manufacturing environment.

Essential Functions:
- Lead DPM US accounting (US GAAP, IFRS, and company policies).
- Oversee month/quarter/year-end close.
- Ensure GL/balance sheet integrity (reconciliations, accruals, reserves, documentation).
- Review/approve journal entries, analyses, and significant estimates.
- Ensure proper accounting for manufacturing, inventory, fixed assets, capital projects, and OPEX.
- Own balance sheet governance and SOX-compliant internal controls.
- Lead internal/external audits and remediation.
- Provide escalation support and accounting guidance to stakeholders.
- Supervise, coach, and develop accounting team; drive engagement and succession.
- Standardize/automate accounting processes; support system/tool implementations.
- Improve reporting quality, efficiency, and control effectiveness.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance or related field (accredited) (required)
- 8+ years progressive accounting/financial reporting (required)
- 3+ years direct people leadership (required)
- Strong US GAAP, financial reporting, internal controls (required)
- Experience managing accounting operations and financial close (required)
- CPA certification (required)
- Public accounting background (Big Four/national firm) (preferred)
- Manufacturing/pharma/biotech/regulated industry experience (preferred)
- Knowledge of inventory, cost, fixed assets, and capital project accounting (preferred)
- Global, matrixed organization experience; SAP/financial systems; process improvement/transformation (preferred)
