Role Summary

Senior Maintenance Technician responsible for efficient and reliable operations of process and utility systems and equipment within responsibilities. Will cover assigned shift and be available for rotational assignment. Reports to Maintenance Manager. Working hours from 4:30 AM to 3:00 PM, Wednesday to Saturday.

Responsibilities

  • Perform scheduled and corrective maintenance of complex equipment and systems.
  • Evaluate equipment performance and recommend improvements to Maintenance Program and system design
  • Perform troubleshooting of the most complicated systems and equipment. Ensure quality of work, provide in-house expertise
  • Perform scheduled and corrective maintenance of utility systems and process equipment.
  • Coordinate maintenance activities with manufacturing supervisors. Solicit quotations and review contractors' proposals within your area or responsibilities.
  • Evaluate equipment performance and recommend improvements to Maintenance Program and System Design

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated abilities and evidence of training in repair, operations, and troubleshooting of electromechanical process equipment and utility systems
  • Experience with control systems, SCADA and BMS systems would be ideal.
  • Relevant experience in Bio-Pharmaceutical, petrochemical and packaging industries.
  • Provide training as guidance to contractors
  • Knowledge of plant facilities and process equipment/systems
  • Competency in maintaining and reviewing facilities related cGMP documentation
  • Perform troubleshooting of critical facility and process equipment.
  • Decide on operations and maintenance of critical plant equipment and systems.
  • Handle emergencies on process equipment.
  • Make recommendations to maintenance management on equipment performance and design improvements.

  • Electromechanical repair and troubleshooting
  • SCADA and BMS familiarity
  • Facility and process equipment knowledge
  • cGMP documentation understanding
  • Ability to work with contractors and coordinate maintenance activities
  • Emergency response and problem-solving capabilities

Education

  • High school diploma or equivalent

Additional Requirements

  • Work in controlled environment with gowning and protective clothing; potential need for respiratory protection
  • Climb ladders, reach, bend and lift up to 50 lbs
  • On-call availability and mobile device requirement
  • Willingness to work multiple shifts, including weekends
