Role: Maintenance Technician responsible for installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining production and facility equipment in a biopharma manufacturing environment. Objectives include minimizing downtime through emergency repairs, executing preventive maintenance, and supporting facility upgrades. Responsibilities encompass mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, plumbing, and control system diagnostics, repairs, and calibrations, alongside managing hazardous waste and coordinating with external vendors. The role also involves supporting safety compliance and collaborating with engineering, IT, operations, and production teams on continuous improvement projects. Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent; 6+ years of advanced mechanical and electrical repair experience, preferably within industrial manufacturing; technical certifications in electrical, HVAC, or plumbing. Skills: proficiency in reading blueprints, technical manuals, and work instructions; knowledge of PLC, CAD, Lean methodologies, and safety practices; computer skills including ERP, CMMS, BMS, and MS Office; ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work in diverse environments including heights, confined spaces, and hazardous conditions. Preferred: CAD or SolidWorks proficiency, experience with GMP/regulated environments.
