Role: Senior Laboratory Information Application Support Specialist responsible for maintaining and optimizing laboratory information systems (LIS/LIMS) in a regulated clinical environment. Objectives include ensuring system stability, compliance, and integration with healthcare data standards. Core responsibilities encompass system administration, troubleshooting, configuration of workflows and interfaces (notably HL7), leading validation efforts, and supporting software upgrades. It also involves coordinating with laboratory and IT teams, authoring validation and SOP documentation, and delivering training.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of five years supporting clinical LIS or scientific LIMS applications in regulated settings, with expertise in HL7, middleware, and database querying (SQL). Deep understanding of GxP, FDA 21 CFR Part 11, HIPAA, CAP, and CLIA standards is required.
Preferred Skills: Extensive experience in healthcare, pharma, or biotech regulated environments; proficiency with HL7 protocols; middleware administration; database management; and validation frameworks. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and project management skills are essential.
