Senior Lab Assistant (LabOps) — Product, Analytical, and Process Development (PAPD) Operations / Pre-Clinical Manufacturing and Process Development (PMPD)
Responsibilities:
- Prepare buffers/media for various formulations, including pumping into single-use bags and recording in an electronic lab notebook.
- Maintain clean, organized lab, storage, and hallway areas to support a safe working environment.
- Manage the customer request portal; prioritize and delegate tasks to LabOps personnel to meet need-by dates while delivering high-quality customer service.
- Oversee raw material ordering by placing orders with external vendors and initiating move orders for critical items stored in manufacturing facilities.
- Provide hands-on in-lab support and serve as a team lead and/or project coordinator to ensure training, efficient workflows, and reliable delivery.
- Anticipate and communicate potential issues to the supervisor; identify and implement operational improvements to increase speed and efficiency.
- Communicate effectively across functions and levels; demonstrate strong interpersonal and customer-service skills.
- Adapt to evolving priorities and processes to support departmental growth and expansion.
Qualifications / Requirements:
- HS diploma.
- 2–4+ years’ experience (or combination of training and experience).
- Experience in media/buffer prep or science background is a plus.
