Senior IT Product Owner – CRM

Role: Senior IT Product Owner – CRM, leading the development and strategic evolution of AstraZeneca’s global CRM platform built on Salesforce Life Sciences Cloud. Main objectives include defining product vision, managing roadmaps, driving platform innovation, and ensuring successful global delivery. Responsibilities encompass stakeholder engagement, translating business needs into scalable features, overseeing platform integrations (e.g., MuleSoft, Data Cloud), and promoting AI-driven automation and agentic CRM capabilities. The role also involves managing external vendors, leading cross-functional teams, and fostering continuous improvement and innovation within the CRM ecosystem. Required qualifications include a bachelor’s degree, 10+ years in CRM or customer engagement processes, deep Salesforce expertise (preferably Life Sciences Cloud), certifications, and experience delivering large-scale global CRM implementations. Knowledge of Data Cloud, AI-enabled workflows, enterprise integration, and agile delivery is essential. Preferred skills include product management experience in large organizations, stakeholder management across technical and business units, and familiarity with modern architecture principles. The position emphasizes leadership in innovation, digital transformation, and enterprise data activation. It reports to senior management and involves collaboration with global teams and vendors. Location is remote with no specific travel requirements.
