Role Summary

Senior IT Operations Specialist & Executive Support — IT Operations professional responsible for end-to-end IT operations and white-glove executive support at Elanco’s Global Headquarters, with occasional support for other North American offices. Mission-critical role ensuring business continuity, delivering exceptional IT experiences for employees and senior leaders, and supporting local and global IT initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Own IT infrastructure & systems operations (hardware, software, networking, workplace technologies, incidents, assets, and continuity) across HQ and other North America offices.
  • Deliver dedicated white-glove IT support for executives, including board meetings, town halls, and other high-profile events.
  • Provide end-user IT support, troubleshooting both standard and complex issues, while coordinating with service providers when needed.
  • Ensure smooth operation of conference rooms, collaboration spaces, and facility IT systems (security, building management, FedEx/UPS systems).
  • Act as a key liaison between local stakeholders, global IT teams, and third-party vendors.
  • Manage IT vendors and contractors, ensuring service levels are met.
  • Support the rollout and adoption of global and local IT projects, including validation, deployment, and release management.
  • Oversee IT asset management, procurement processes, and accurate documentation in ServiceNow.
  • Establish and monitor metrics on IT service delivery and user satisfaction.
  • Provide occasional travel-based IT support to other Elanco offices.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 5+ years’ IT support experience in environments of 500+ users.
  • 3+ years of IT project coordination & delivery.
  • Experience supporting executives/VIPs (3+ years).
  • Strong technical skills: Windows 10/11, Dell devices, O365, MS Teams Rooms, iOS, video conferencing, AV systems, and networking basics (switches, Wi-Fi, cabling).
  • Experience with asset management, procurement, and IT stock control.
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Service-oriented mindset, with passion for helping users and solving problems.
  • Proven expertise with ServiceNow (incident/change management).
  • Proven ability to identify, plan, and deliver effective IT solutions.
  • Skilled in supporting off-site meetings and events (including Executive, Board, and Shareholder Meetings, as well as company Town Halls).
  • Availability for occasional 24/7 on-call support (rare).
