The Position
Provides financial and analytical support across the investment lifecycle for DPM US, enabling capital allocation and portfolio decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Act as a finance partner supporting investment decisions across the lifecycle.
- Support development/evaluation of business cases (PEM model): financial assumptions, cost estimates, risks, and expected benefits.
- Perform scenario, sensitivity, and risk analyses.
- Support investment governance standards (policies/processes/approval requirements).
- Maintain and update investment data in Clarity; ensure completeness, accuracy, and alignment to approved business cases/timelines.
- Support month-end close: consolidation/reconciliation and accurate investment reporting.
- Prepare investment reporting highlighting deviations, drivers, risks, opportunities for cost/value improvement.
- Track portfolio transparency (project progress, financial phasing, strategic alignment).
- Collaborate with Engineering, Production, Finance, and Operations to align assumptions with operational reality.
- Identify/escalate inconsistencies or risks; support capital prioritization/trade-offs.
- Monitor performance vs. business cases; support post-investment reviews/lessons learned.
- Improve financial processes/tools (incl. Clarity) and ensure alignment with Accounting/Finance reporting requirements.
- Follow all safety & environmental requirements.
Qualifications
- Required: Masterโs in Finance/Economics/Engineering/Business Administration/Accounting or related + 8 yearsโ experience in investment/corporate/capital project/business finance/portfolio/consulting/strategic finance; OR Bachelorโs + 10 years.
- Required: Proven complex business case development/evaluation; strong financial modeling and capital investment/portfolio analysis; investment governance and risk assessment; advanced analytics/problem-solving; excellent communication/stakeholder management; English proficiency.
- Preferred: pharmaceutical/biotech/manufacturing/engineering/regulated industry experience; large-scale capital investments/expansions; project management/capital project execution; presenting to senior leadership/governance boards; portfolio tools/advanced analytics; MBA/CFA.
