Role: Senior/Principal Instrument Engineer supporting biopharmaceutical manufacturing at Regeneron, primarily in Troy, NY. Objectives include specifying, evaluating, and maintaining process instrumentation to ensure compliance with cGMP standards, troubleshooting complex instrumentation issues, and guiding calibration and configuration activities for manufacturing equipment. Responsibilities: manage instrumentation projects, develop specifications, review automation input/output, conduct root cause analyses, assist in design reviews, and oversee change controls; may supervise contractors. Qualifications: BS/BA in Engineering (Electrical preferred); 5+ years (Senior) or 8+ years (Principal) of engineering experience; deep understanding of process instrumentation including sensors, analyzers, and process control systems; experience with biopharma process equipment is highly desirable. Skills: strong project management, independent decision-making, advanced problem-solving, and familiarity with automation.
