Position: Senior Institutional Mental Health Account Specialist (COBENFY)
Responsibilities
- Promote approved indications in a defined territory to meet/exceed sales targets compliantly.
- Create demand by communicating clinical/scientific rationale for appropriate patients.
- Build and maintain deep scientific expertise across assigned products/therapeutic areas.
- Develop and execute territory/account plans to promote products to HCPs, hospital administrators, influencers, and ancillary staff.
- Use available tools to derive insights and inform call plans; provide feedback for continuous improvement.
- In hospitals: develop relationships to encourage formulary access and product availability; understand payer/formulary and access/reimbursement.
- Deliver fair and balanced scientific dialogue using approved resources/publications; conduct on-site presentations; organize speaker programs.
- Stay current on emerging data; provide real-time medical support via Medical on Call.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with field teams and matrix resources; comply with applicable laws/regulations/policies.
- Field-based: engage 100% of time with customers in Community Mental Health Centers, Certified Community Behavioral Health Centers, and Hospitals.
Required Qualifications
- Advanced scientific degree and/or 5+ years pharmaceutical/biotech experience (healthcare sales/MSL/HCP/nurse).
- Ability to communicate scientific/clinical data accurately.
- Demonstrated credibility with community/hospital customers and stakeholders; customer-centric mindset.
- Strong account management and selling; proven track record.
Preferred Qualifications
- Psychiatry experience.
- Experience with community mental health centers and hospitals.
- Experience engaging P&T committee members; knowledge of formulary/reimbursement.
